The Laerdal AED-trainer comes in a pack of 3 trainers and is perfect for group sessions. The trainer has two different panels that allow the student and instructor to operate the trainer at the same time without interrupting each other. The trainer is easy to operate and can be used by students with varying levels of expertise. The trainer is compatible with all Laerdal manikins that are equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. However, to ensure the best training quality you can combine the trainer with the Little Anne Stackable Manikins.
The Laerdal AED-trainer is intended to give realistic training on delivering correct treatment. The instructor can operate the trainer in the QCPR app and easily change training scenarios or other settings. The student can operate the trainer during their training through the front panel, where they can administer a shock and turn the trainer on and off. The trainer has audio-feedback that guides the student through the process.

Laerdal AED-trainer
The Laerdal AED-trainer comes in a set of 3, these trainers each have their own protective case and can be stored in the carrier bag that is designed for the transportation of up to 6 trainer. The trainer can be customised to fully and semi-automatic settings and is compatible with preconnected and non-preconnected electrodes which allows a variety of training scenarios.
Defibrillator panels
The user panel: The student can use this panel during the training without disrupting the training settings or results. Even when the student turns of the trainer in this panel it will remain connected to the QCPR app.
The trainer panel: The trainer can turn the trainer on or off and adjust the volume.
Universal design
The universal design of the trainer prepares the students to operate any kind of defibrillator brand.
Compatibility
The trainer is compatible with all Laerdal training manikins and can use existing AED-trainer electrode pads.
The Laerdal AED-trainer is made of 60% recycled ABS plastic materials and with the digital enablement for updates the lifetime of the defibrillator is increased drastically. Additionally, you can also use researchable batteries instead of non-rechargeable batteries.
Laerdal QCPR Training app
The monitored feedback is clearly shown in the improved Laerdal QCPR training app. You can easily download the app on your preferred device (tablet or phone). The manikin connects to the training app via the Bluetooth function. After the manikin has been connected once, they will automatically connect in the future when they are switched on. You can combine different training manikin models during your training and monitor them all at once or you can choose to focus on individual manikins.
The app provides you with real time feedback that you can use to improve the quality of the CPR and ventilation administration. You can enhance the quality of the training even further by adding the SkillGuide tool to your training set-up. This handy little tool can be connected to the manikin and allows you and your student to monitor Realtime feedback simultaneously. Settings
The instructor can change the settings of each trainer and training protocol on the app separately or all at once. The trainer can be updated according to new guidelines through the app and therefore don’t require replacement once they are no longer compliant with certain guidelines, this makes it an even greater investment.
