Public access AEDs
AEDs in public places become increasingly common. Think of parks, harbours, shopping malls and other public places that are to be covered by the municipality such as the community center, the library and the sports hall. A good initiative because in case of a cardiac arrest, every minute counts!
The AEDs shown below are user friendly for anyone. Especially these defibrillators offer clear instructions to aid the care giver through the resuscitation process until the ambulance arrives. In addition, all “online” defibrillators (DefiSign Life Online and Physio Control Lifepak CR2) are ideal for municipalities and owners of public spaces. Connect the defibrillator via Wi-Fi or 3G and get notified when the AED is used, when the battery runs out of energy or when the locations of the device changes. Will the defibrillator be located outdoors? No problem, but please also arrange a high quality outdoor cabinet.
