Clear LCD screen and audible alarm
The Mindray BeneHeart S1A features a compact 1.96-inch (dot-matrix) LCD screen that displays essential information during use and routine maintenance. The screen shows the AED operating time, number of shocks delivered and battery status.
When the AED lid is closed, the device automatically checks whether the electrode pads are connected. If the pads are not connected correctly, a flashing red status indicator and audible alarm provide an immediate warning.
Low maintenance costs
The Mindray BeneHeart S1A is designed to reduce maintenance requirements. The battery and electrode pads have an approximate service life of 4-4.5 years, provided the AED has not been used. This long service life reduces the frequency of replacements and can help keep the overall cost of AED ownership low.
Quickly ready for use
The BeneHeart S1A performs daily self-tests. A flashing green LED shows that the device is ready for use. As the electrode pads are pre-connected, you can deploy the AED quickly. QShock technology allows the first shock to be delivered within 8 seconds.
During use, the LCD screen displays the following information:
- 2: the AED usage time
- 4: the number of shocks delivered
- 7: the AED battery level
- 8: Electrode pad placement indicator. The lights flash when the pads have not been positioned correctly and remain continuously green when the pads are correctly positioned.
Quality and durability
The Mindray BeneHeart S1A is designed to withstand demanding conditions. The AED has been drop-tested from a height of 1.5 metres onto six different surfaces, demonstrating its durability and suitability for use in a variety of environments.
Thanks to its high IP-rating, this AED is ideally suited for installation in an outdoor cabinet and can withstand use in damp or dusty environments.
Suitable for every rescuer and patient
The BeneHeart S1A uses ResQNavi technology to detect hesitation during electrode pad placement. When additional assistance is required, the AED provides more detailed voice instructions to guide the rescuer through the process.
A dedicated language button makes it easy to switch between available languages.
Paediatric mode
The AED includes a paediatric mode that reduces the energy level. This allows the BeneHeart S1A to be used for children without replacing the electrode pads.
The AED also automatically compensates for the patient's impedance. If the patient's impedance is higher, the device automatically adjusts the shock energy accordingly.
