Clear instructions and robust design

The ZOLL AED Plus fully automatic guides the rescuer through voice instructions, an LCD screen and pictograms. In addition, the multifunctional lid that can be placed under the patient’s shoulders, ensures that the patient lies in a stable head-down position, keeping the airway clear.

There is also a semi-automatic variant of this AED available: the ZOLL AED Plus Semi-Automatic.

Real-time CPR feedback

The ZOLL AED Plus comes with CPR-D Padz, electrodes with built-in sensor. Using Real CPR Help® technology, the AED provides real-time feedback on the depth and pace of chest compressions. This helps the rescuer to perform optimal CPR.

AED with low maintenance costs

This AED has electrodes and batteries with a shelf life of approximately 5 years, which means that the maintenance costs are lower than with many other AEDs. During the entire life of the AED (when not in use), the electrodes and batteries only need to be replaced once.

Excellent protection of the ZOLL AED Plus

The ZOLL AED Plus has a high IP55 rating, which means it is optimally protected against dust and sparkling water. This makes the AED ideal for use in dusty environments, such as industrial companies. In addition, its water resistance makes it  perfect for locations near swimming pools, saunas and marine environments.

Automatic shock delivery

The main difference between the fully automatic and semi-automatic version is that the rescuer does not have to press the shock button with this AED. After an analysis of the heart rhythm, the AED automatically administers a shock, if necessary. This ensures a quick and effective treatment without any additional actions from the user.

Shock impedance on the ZOLL AED

The ZOLL AED applies a shock protocol with energy levels of 120, 150 and 200 Joule, depending on the situation and the patient's need. This escalating shock protocol ensures that the first shock is delivered at 120 Joules and, if necessary, increased to 150 and eventually 200 Joules in subsequent shocks.
